The “Easy Money” Lie Scroll through Instagram or YouTube, and you’ll see the same lie everywhere: “Let AI do all the work. You just sit back and make money.”
Complete nonsense.
If you think AI is a magic wand that does everything while you sleep, you are missing the point. I use AI every single day for my blog and YouTube channel, and let me tell you the truth: Using AI properly is hard work.
It doesn’t save me from thinking. It forces me to think harder.
1. Prompting isn’t Magic, It’s logic. People think writing a prompt is just typing, “Make me a blog post.” If you do that, you get garbage. Robotic, soulless garbage.
To get a quality result, I have to be precise. I have to command it. I have to say: “No, that’s too boring. Make it punchier.” “This logic is weak. Fix it.” “Change the tone to be more human.”
Does this sound like “less work”? No. This takes time. This takes brainpower. But this is how I sharpen my own thinking skills. By commanding AI, I am training myself to be a better director.
2. Don’t Be a Follower, Be the Editor-in-Chief Many parents worry, “What will our kids do if AI does everything? Will they become useless?”
They will only become useless if they learn to follow AI. But if they learn to lead AI? They will be unstoppable.
I treat ChatGPT as my intern. My secretary. My grunt worker. It does the heavy lifting—researching, summarizing, drafting. But I never accept its first draft. I correct it. I reject it. I refine it.

- I make the decisions.
As long as I hold the power to say “No” or “Rewrite this,” AI is never above me. It is always beneath me, serving my purpose.
I recently asked ChatGPT to summarize a book called New Order. The core message hit me hard because it perfectly explains the attitude we need right now.
The book argues that to survive in this era, individuals must hold onto three principles:
1. Never give up questioning.
2. Never delegate your judgment.
3. Beware of trading your thinking power for convenience.
This is exactly what I mean. The reason I constantly tell AI to “Rewrite this” or “Fix that” is simple: I refuse to trade my thinking power for convenience. I am keeping my judgment alive.
3. The Real Danger is Giving Up Your “Yes or No” The moment you accept whatever AI spits out because you are too lazy to read it—that is when you lose. That is when you are conquered.
But if you use AI to speed up your workflow while maintaining 100% control over the intent and the final output? That isn’t surrender. That is leverage.
Conclusion: Use It, Don’t Be Used By It So, stop worrying about AI taking over the world. AI doesn’t have a will. It doesn’t have a desire. It doesn’t have a dream. You do.
